Service: Domain Names

We do not register domain names.  Instead we prefer, you - the customer, register your domain name at Network Solutions.  Network Solutions is the original domain name provider and are the best when it comes to handling your domain name.  They allow you to retain FULL control over your domain name after it is registered.

Unlike other domain name / host services you are NOT required to use their hosting services if you do not want to.  This means that when you transfer web hosts they will not hold your domain name hostage just to keep you with them.  The only thing they do is house your domain name and point it to your web host.  

Network Solutions also registers your domain name with YOU as the owner and not the host.  This is how it should be.  Unfortunately, some of the host / registrars out there do not do this.  They register the domain as if they were the owner.  This can be very bad down the road when you try to transfer to another host.  If you go with another registrar always verify they are ICANN registered and accredited.
